Rapunzel honestly should’ve expected it to happen. The older ladies in town could sometimes be a tad ‘nosy’ and were often known for being gossips.

   There was also the fact she wasn’t betrothed,  roaming around with a mysterious young man, WOULD spark the curiosity of others.

It was difficult to see the enemy as he was dressed in all black andwithout much magic energy left, the brunette knew that it would be better towave the white flag so that she may survive to fight another day. 

After all, ifhe wanted to kill her he would have done so when she was sleeping. Garnetdropped her daggers, her fingertips feeling a tingle before going numb. Herbreathes were still a little harsh. Gingerly, she fell upon her tremblingknees, the cold finally kissing her entire body with dullness. “ I can’t fight you.”Although she was good with daggers, this man was a better fighter.
