Trouble in Mayapple - Kouji and Kouichi
Their house (a better word would be âfarmâ) was located on route 15, and so they often travelled to Larkspur Town when they ran low on supplies. Kouichi rarely let Kouji go alone, having only allowed it once and then never again. They had no newborn PokĂ©mon this time, only two eggs, and each was tucked inside a backpack on each twinâs back.
The younger held onto his brotherâs arm, his  Sylveon having her ribbons wrapped around her other hand, while the elder stared into space as they walked. They ended up taking a detour, as the mention of Mega Evolution caught the elderâs attention (the younger brother couldnât convince him to simply return home), and thatâs how they ended up in this mess.
âDamn it, Kouichi, I told you we shouldâve just gone home!â one twin snapped, hugging his backpack tightly to his chest as the showing quickly turned to disaster.
âKouji, take the other egg,â the other replied, pulling a pokeball from his belt. âIâll clear a path for us.â
âYou canât be serious!â Kouji rolled his eyes, though, and took the backpack. âThose freaks will gang up on us.â
        âTheyâll hurt you.â
        âStop worrying about me!â
âMm. Banette, letâs fight.â The ghost-type appeared in an instant, letting out a demented cry as it stood beside its trainer. Kouichi just smirked as a grunt confronted him, calling out his Poochyena. A Dark-type, of all things.
âFor fuckâs sake,â Kouji muttered bitterly. âKouichi, call out someone else. Sylveon, use Moonblast!â
        âSylve-ve!â
âAssist her, Liepard,â Kouichi murmured, the cat-like PokĂ©mon meowing in response.
        And so, the battle began.
