The strange car and silent driver had dropped him off at this particular buildingā 106, it seemsāĀ with nothing but a couple informational sheets of paper andā really?ā a cellphone. Itās an odd cellphone; flat and smooth, buttonless. It responds to touch, though thatās difficult with the claws heās been left with. If thereās been some time since he was last up, theyāve improved technology quite a bit. Jealous, perhaps. Heās not sure what they expect him to do with this. Hold it up to a speaker? He scoffs slightly as he turns his attention to the building. A large garage; would be nice to be able to fill his eventual computer components into that space. Two floors. Not really needed, he only needs so much space, and really, he doesnāt need amenities. Still silent, he opens the door and strides in; still a little wobbly and off balance.
The house has quite a bit of space in it; living room, kitchen space. Definitely feels like a more American style home. Again, he doesnāt exactly need a kitchen, he doesnāt eat. He pauses, though, screen tilting slightly. Thereās things here. Obvious things that make the kitchen look used. Oh, of course. Whoever has dragged him to this place wouldnāt give him personal space and isolation, either! Great. Vaguely irritated, he drops the phone onto one of the counters with a loud clatter. May as well see what the rest of this place is like; surely theyāve designated a room for him too, then.
Abruptly, he notices someone else here. As soon as he does, HAL shuts off his screen and stands stock still. Locked up, he stands silently like a somewhat intimidatingly tall tower of metal and silicone; topped with a singular flat computer screen. Great. Great. He hates it here.
