A rather spontaneous idea that basically drew itself. I'm glad to have some inspiration at least after the god awful month i've had. Anyway, felt like trying to illustrate the freezing rain in Aamon's world. Brought on by a winter storm, with fierce winds and extreme temperatures, the freezing rain can rapidly encase an environment in ice, leaving the landscape covered in vicious looking yet delicate frozen needles. Most small lifeforms don't survive being caught in a storm such as this, only the giants can avoid being entombed in the ice, but even they should seek shelter lest the wind sap their strength. Darkmoons - The Midnight Shade

"....As the years passed on, the Matron of the Wind-Clan still had little idea as to why she chose to save the infant, he was after all, 'one of them' as her mate put it. But why was he there? The Great-Wings were fiercely protective of their offspring, just like her own people. What made them abandon this child? Was there something wrong with him? Not that she could tell. He was a little on the small side perhaps but was that all it took? The youngster was such a mystery to her; a danger to her people perhaps, yes, though something told her otherwise, something she could not quite place...." Impromptu illustration that started off as a doodle in my sketchbook. Baby Aamon and his moma, long before he became the giant he is now. (well duh)

Yey a new video! Been a while. I’ve got a new phone (semi-modern, at least compared to my old brick) so hopefully, I can produce better quality traditional art videos now.
