Sometimes a book can make you feel like every word was written for your sake.
How magical it is to feel so much simply from some pages filled with words.

Kdrama and Vintage Aesthetics
Sometimes I truly admire how kdrama keep portraying vintage and aesthetics. This scenes were taken from a popular kdrama, I loved how it was organized.
It's safe to say that it's one of my dream vintage collection. I loved the decor and the aesthetic vibe it gives off.
When Seo Kang Joon from "When the weather is fine" said that,
"Even though eating and sleeping are the very basics, people have most troubles with these things."
I felt that.
Sometimes a book gets so close to my heart that I hug it as I sleep for days and can't let it go. Sometimes the book is more real to me than the entire world I live in.
I prefer to read books that had been published over 5 years ago at least and still wounding the readers.
Life is too short to read books that has not had the baptism of time.

How do people read 80 or 200 books a year?
It takes me months to recover from a book. I go through whole grief, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance process, before I can start a new book.
Sometimes I feel intense nostalgic and melancholic emotions gushing through my heart and soul, just by looking at the pile of books. As if I've lived those stories from all those books.
Don't get anxious over the social media figures reading more books and people following reading challenges. Even if you read a book or couple of pages of a book in a year, that still counts. It's your hobby so you should enjoy the enchanting feelings while you flip through pages, not pressured or overwhelmed by reading challenges and numbers.
