As Hey Doll comes to a close, and I chew on the notes for Izou's Match Story, and I doodle notes for Marco's Match story (I mean, I *have* to), and I'm sitting here and I'd like to do an Oliver one (or maybe Gris, idk), because I just really love the premise and all the ways you can play in it.
But then I'm like
Okay, but what if the match data comes out solid, yeah, and it looks good on paper, and it looks good at first blush, but
It's not.
Maybe it's Crocodile, or Doflamingo, or whoever, and it's all sweet affection and dates and everything, and then like, a switch flips.
Maybe you find a room that's nothing but pictures and pictures of you. Not your Matchbook photos, not anything that you posted online, but hundreds of candid pictures. Pieces of clothes that went missing that you never really gave much thought to until you see them pinned to the wall with the pictures.
Or maybe there's not even a history of stalking. You're his match now, and there's nothing you can do about it. All the government cares about is that you get pregnant within a certain time frame. They're not going to care how he takes you, just that you ended up knocked up from it.
Just like - I've been writing (and plan to write) stories that are basically like success stories of mandated marriages.

and reader feels so guilty, not scared of Marco at all but guilt that he had to dirty his hands like that (even moreso when it’s brought to their attention that Marco had never actually killed someone) while Marco feels dirty and not worthy of touching reader so he keeps his distance which makes reader just feel MORE guilty especially if they had it relatively easy while in teach’s hands compared to Marco
Teach never had reader watch per say, but some was close enough to hear and there was a glimpse caught especially when Marco wasn’t behaving
Hitting my bed rn why is this where my brain went. Imma go lay down again. If you write anything like this ever in a story I just might die Quin.
