Can you reckognize them?

The first is the Dark Construct by @decagon95

BlueBoss had been watching the carnage, watching as his friends were being killed by the Dark Construct. The haunting laughter from the machine echoed in BlueBoss’s mind, reminding him of everything he had lost.

“No... enough,” he says quietly, his anger silently boiling over to rage. He was about to do the unthinkable, turning to regard the Tree that kept the last part of Paradise safe. “I am going to end you... even if it costs me my own life.”

BlueBoss grabs the Tree, yanking it out of the ground; as he does so, the shield protecting the survivors collapses. He splits it apart, jamming all three Triangles into his body.

“Now I will make you SUFFER.”

As the energy overtakes his form, BlueBoss transforms into his Annihilate phase once more, radiating intense light that burns away the rainclouds. The Dark Construct chuckled as Annihi-BlueBoss roars.

Star and Sad Square try to make a run for the safety of the Tree, but the Dark Construct wasn’t going to just let them escape.

“Going somewhere? AHAHAHAHAHA!”

He brings down his thumper again; Star uses what strength she has left to throw up one last barrier, but it wasn’t nearly enough. As the shield cracked, she grabbed Sad Square and threw him out of harm’s way.

“I’m sorry...” Star says, her voice barely a whisper. The instant the barrier shattered, Star was no more.

“Mhmhmhm! Such sweet tragedy,” the Dark Construct taunts as the dust settles. Sad Square couldn’t believe what just happened, clutching one of Star’s fragments. He couldn’t even muster the will to run anymore... his new friends were both gone.

“Well, now it’s your turn, mhmhmhmhm!”

The Dark Construct was about to smash Sad Square into bits when he noticed something odd sitting on the ground near his left leg. A boss battle level beacon, with the furious Guardians attempting to make a dash for it. The Dark Construct chuckled.

“Adorable! You want to drag me into one of those things, huh? WE SHALL SEE ABOUT THAT!”

Triangle and Pentagon were being closely pursued by Dark Circle, managing to enter the boss level before the Dark Construct could reach down to intercept them... however, he wasn’t even aiming for the Guardians themselves. He tore the level beacon from its place, holding it in his hand.

“I always hated these things. You Guardians think you’re so powerful when you’re inside... because you know you’re powerless without! SUCH A SHAME IT WON’T SAVE YOU THIS TIME, AHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

The Dark Construct uses the power of the Triangles to blast Trinity with a beam of pure darkness, powerful to shatter their form. Trinity splits back into the three that made the titan up, scattering them over the ground below. Star scrambles to get Sad Square up as soon as she is able, but Diamon’, one-armed and further away, isn’t so lucky.

The ground shakes as one of the Dark Construct’s thumpers smashes Diamon’ into lifeless fragments, destroying the trinity once and for all.

A sudden change of plans results in the Dark Triangle breaking out of its containment unit, landing in the Dark Construct’s grip. Tearing off one of his side triangles, he replaces it with the Dark Triangle, 

“My power is unmatched,” the Dark Construct taunts, although Trinity had plans of their own. Calling forth the infected Dark Triangle from the Mothership’s ruins; before they could absorb its power, however, a powerful force pulls it out of their grasp. “Nice try, mhmhmhm.”

Meanwhile...

Our heroes are fighting valiantly against the army of constructs, their superior strength of combined team work quickly and efficiently neutralizing the machine threats one at a time.
