I was swimming the other day and started talking with some other dude about chaos theory and Jwcc because he had mentioned it when we were coming back from warm up. He then proceeded to tell me the only thing he doesn’t like about the show is yasammy… I genuinely went silent for a bit because he just told me that he doesn’t like the only current and healthy relationship in the show because it’s gay even though it really doesn’t impact the show that much. It also made me piece together why he asked if I thought the show was truly kid appropriate because after he told me that he said “I just don’t think that’s something they should show kids” I personally don’t think kids should be completely taught about the community because they can figure that stuff out by themselves as they grow but there’s no harm in presenting it in media or just seeing it in real life. They’ll know those kinds of people exist and that people can love who they want to love. Anyways I just kind of tried not to laugh at him about it the rest of the time we had practice. His other friend who liked it was cool though, he didn’t necessarily talk about any problems he had with it so let’s hope he’s chill.
