The next morning Patrick was the first to wake up and heard two people talking. He was careful to be quiet as he left his room and walked down the hallway. Once he got to the end he peaked over carefully and saw a fire monster sitting next to Gareth. The monster was wearing a sweater, scarf, and sweatpants and she seemed mad. "How do you know they're safe? How do you know they didn't steal anything or even if they're still here for that matter." The fire girl's hair seemed to flare up each time she asked a question. Alastor, please trust me. They are still here and nothing has been taken. I would have heard something from my room if that was true." Gareth took her in his arms and hugged her tightly. "I know your worried. I know you noticed how last time two humans went missing when people from above fell down but it's ok. I have a feeling that maybe we'll get answers and whatever ya been happening will be stopped." Patrick saw Alastors hair lower down to her shoulders as she let out a sigh. Patrick then returned to the room to wake Jax up. After a bit of shaking his brother for five minutes Jax finally got up and out of bed. "Ok. Ok I'm up." Patrick chuckled "yeah don't want you to sleep the day away." Jax followed Patrick out of the room to the kitchen where Gareth was. He was making pancakes and Alastor was sitting at the table and waved to the two of them nervously as they sat down. "Did you both sleep well?" Gareth asked. Jax nodded. "Yeah your beds are really soft." Gareth nodded "I'm glad. Also the night before you two fell I found two notebooks where you fell. Could they possibly belong to you?" Patrick thought for a moment unsure. "Yeah they could possibly be ours." Gareth flipped over a pancake before responding "Their in my lab and I can let you get them just don't touch anything except the desk they're on and don't take anything except the notebooks or I will know." Jax and Patrick agreed to not take or touch anything else and after breakfast went to the lab. Both Jax and Patrick were creeped out by the lab since it looked like a doctor's office. When they went back Gareth was organizing his bookshelf. Gareth told the brothers he planned to show them around the village and take them to Queen Ruby since she needed to know who appeared and disappeared in the underground. Jax was excited to explore while Patrick was wary of how it seemed like people normally disappeared.
