Isn't chell mute tho?? She doesn't talk at all in the first game either nor in the comic iirc. Sign language wasn't exactly an option either considering she's always having to hold the portal gun. Talk wise I don't think she was being stubborn, but in what she chooses to DO action wise she was being stubborn
