I'm answering about my circus ! s/i
She was born in a small rural French town, but hadn't stayed more than a few years. Her ability dramatically increases the power of other abilities, and she was basically handed around, kidnapped, and sold across many criminal ability user organizations. She was a teenager when she was found by Voltair, a B.SD oc of mine, and he read her mind with his ability and learned what they were doing to her; he resolved to free her, aided by his small troupe. They took her with them, told her they'd find somewhere safe to bring her or she could stay with them, and she choose to create her own freedom with the circus. She officially joined le Cirque des Désenchantés, one of my B.SD oc groups, and trained as their lead acrobat and is incredibly skilled. She chose the acrobat role to feel like she can fly when she's swinging and those brief seconds between releasing one swing and grasping the other one. She finds her actual parents to reunite, but travels with the others mostly; the circus has become part of her family. The circus has become super popular in France, and she is a core advertised troupe member for them.
