15. Do you think you’re special, or just another person amongst billions? Can you be both?

I don't really feel special, nobody is truly special. The closest one can get to that is having massive amounts of power.

43. Do you create art? How do you define art?

I'd say that yes, I create art. Mostly because the definition of art is so broad. I mean look at the first line of the Wikipediar article on art: "Art is a diverse range of (and products of) human activities involving creative imagination to express technical proficiency, beauty, emotional power, or conceptual ideas."! I'd say I agree with it and so much falls under that, including my alternate history maps xD

49. Do you hold yourself to higher standards than you hold others?

Probably. I'm not quite sure what my standards are towards others but I know that I'm often quite harsh to myself...

1) Do you have freckles?

As is evident in my profile picture: no. I have family members who do have freckles (at least one aunt), but I haven't got them xD

5) Do you sleep with a stuffed animal?

No, though I do keep two of my old stuffies in a shelf near the bed. I have a long foam pillow I sleep with in case I need to hug against something

27) What’s your favorite book? Or just one you’ve read a few times?

My favorite book is probably "Last Chance To See" by Douglas Adams, co-written with Mark Carwardine. I've read the physical book ~four times and have listened to the audio book version read by Adams himself hundreds of times, like it's great as both background noise while I'm trying to sleep or during long train rides. It's not perfect, but it's a fascinating look into 80s animal conservation work and at times very funny and/or poignant.

50) I couldn't pick one, so I rolled one using a d100, and I got #34 (actually I rolled a 67 and using the way d100s are used for tables with 50 options, I turned it into a 68 and halved it, anyway...) "What’s your favorite flower?" Well, the answer to that is the red poppy!

Two old friends of mine are missionaries, I guess they count due to their profession, honestly.

24) what is your favorite thing to learn about?

I mean I love learning about etymologies, history, religions, cultural symbols, the politics of countries you normally don't think about, weird animal facts... I generally like learning but that's the stuff I enjoy the most.

37) what do you listen to music on?

My phone. I have an extensive MP3 library built up and I'm not gonna part with that. Occasionally I put on a long video like e.g. a compiled album or a themed playlist on YouTube on my computer in case I work on something I don't mind background music on, but that's rare.

39) earbuds or headphones?

I use earbuds while on the go and headphones at home. Don't like how cumbersome the latter are while I'm moving about.

It's not profound at all but the sole thing I can think of off the top of my head is "learning a language without someone to practice it with sucks A LOT".

The last book I completed which I didn't just reread/listen to again in audiobook form was IIRC The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara, otherwise it was Last Chance To See by Douglas Adams & Mark Carwardine, my favorite non-fiction book and my go-to audio book in bed xD

Daft Punk's "One More Time" from the Album Discovery / the film Interstella 5555 - The 5tory Of The 5ecret 5tar 5ystem. It's my favorite album from one of my favorite bands and the video is old school anime goodness. I swear I'm not an otaku xD
