@danzhouku started following you
— ☣ A long night had tortured the god from head to toe, the deity suffering in exhaustion from their daily duties. A new plague released, the start of flu season to be brought by a small scratch from an infected cat, and the unyielding, constant run from akayashi had driven the god to the verge of falling asleep on one of their shinki. Surely one of them could carry the deity or keep watch until morning, just long enough for them to get some shut eye? Ah, perhaps it was too much to hope for.
Nonetheless, the god had entered the convenience store with intentions of getting a few small snacks with the day’s earning, possibly a small treat for tomorrow’s breakfast. Nothing too big, a packet of chips perhaps? Ah - no, never mind. Katairai wouldn’t eat chips anyhow, Suzurai would claim they’re not ‘healthy’ enough, and Hayarai…would probably throw them at a pigeon. With a small sigh, the god snatched a five candy bars, examining each with an almost calculating gaze. If their shiki wanted something to eat, candy might have been the best option – ah, but Suzurai’s pension for healthiness… Ekibio heaved a sigh, placing one back in favor of a healthier alternative.
Approaching the clerk with a half-hearted smile, the god reminded themselves that appearing as though they were energetic was favorable in comparison to looking as though they were on the verge of collapsing. Deities, after all, were immortal beings, incapable of appearing weak. Or – at the very least – so they thought.
“H-How much – er – w-would that be?” Hesitation, for a brief moment, as though the deity was considering something. “A-And – um – do you k-know any good places to l-lay down for the n-night?” ☣ —
