Pinterest gave me an idea about characters having dark gradients on their arms. Dan’s posthuman tech form has dark arms. armored by the nanotech interwoven into his body. but I was feeling his arms looked fully mechanical when they are not. I thought the gradient would help sell the integration of flesh and tech a bit better but my full attempt ended up becoming artsy xD so here’s some phone doodle examples as well. any though on the second image?

More drawings of DanTech! with his poncho outfit this time. not liking the pants anymore... need to fix that!
I tried designing some cloths for DanTech, up until now I was just drawing him as he would have appeared in the final battle with the assimilation robot mass. but i gave him a tank top for a more casual outfit and a poncho and pants setup for a more work related outfit. “eh’s an explorer/ranger following this fight. venturing off into new territory of space to pave a way for humanity to follow!
Dan himsel fis about where I want him design wise but his clothing could still use some work.

Dan has really changed sense then I guess. xD and I think i FINALLY nailed his post shonan protagonist outfit and looks! this weird backless cowl hoodie thing fits the needs of his now cybernetic powers! yet covers up everything so he’s not just running around barechested all the time. even though I’m pretty sure a lot of people like him because of that... and his quad pecs.
