            He tosses the book onto the floor and slowly runs his fingers through my hair. I slide my hand up his chest, feel his heart beat twice and then hook my fingers into his shirt, pulling him closer to me. He smiles as we kiss.

            With every moment, our kisses become deeper, speeding up and slowing down in a perfect rhythm as we taste each other’s lips and feel each other so close, in our own world. I sigh as our mouths open, his tongue sliding just slightly against mine, teasing.  Now it’s my turn to smile as I lace my fingers through his hair and pull him more forcefully towards me, wanting more. We tangle in and out of each other’s mouths for what feels like hours, our grips on each other tightening closer and with more urgency. I take a chance and grab his bottom lip between my teeth, pulling it back as he lets out a small irresistible moan.

            Oh, that moan. It’s all over.

            I start to grin at the fact that I pulled that gorgeous sound out of him when suddenly he flips over and he’s on top of me. He pauses to look into my shocked eyes with a look on his face I had never seen before. He looks hungry, determined. Like he’s not fucking around anymore. We’ve been together for weeks but we’ve never gone farther than where we are now, never had the chance to be alone for so long. Now that I see this look on face, feel his chest start to heave against mine, I know it’s time. I love him too much to be afraid.

            He kisses me again and then his mouth is moving down to my neck, where he kisses, then sucks, then nibbles in a way I can barely handle. He moves up to my ear where he flicks his tongue over my earlobe and slides it between his teeth. Fuck. He’s never been a biter before, but holy fuck do I love it when he bites me. It’s then that I notice my breathing becoming heavier, faster, more urgent. He leans back up to kiss my lips again, and I’m about to suck on his tongue when I feel his left hand glide over my breast and give it the slightest squeeze. He moans again and I moan back and I think I’m about to die and he kisses a trail down my neck and the top of my cleavage. I don’t know how to tell him I want him to rip my shirt off except to do the same to him, so I scratch my nails down his back to the hem of his shirt and pull. He lets out a heavy sigh as he pulls it completely off and I sit up so he can do the same, which he does slowly, like he’s savoring every moment. His hands feel cold on my hot skin, giving me goosebumps.

            The careful moment quickly ends when he forces me back down onto the couch, kissing me hard as he takes me passionately in his hands, undoes the front clasp clumsily in his panic, and throws my bra across the room. He’s kissing me all over now, licking and nibbling and teasing and I’m feeling things I didn’t know I could feel. I can’t help the breathy moans escaping my mouth but I can tell he loves them. I want to make him so happy. That’s all I can think- how much I love him and want him, wordlessly, just emotions pulsing in my brain.

            His lips slide against mine again. He takes my wrist and guides my hand down towards his zipper, where I feel him hard and ready, throbbing almost, as I grab him through his jeans as I feel him sigh so deeply into my ear.

            I like.

            I undo the top button and zip down painfully slow, cherishing his every gasp and feeling myself get hotter with every breath. I reach into his boxers and take him in my hand. I have never felt so alive, skin on my skin, throbbing, longing, emotions and sensations swirling indistinguishably. I want him so much. I kiss his chest as it quivers above me, just starting to work my hand up and down, when we hear someone coming up the stairs and everything freezes. Phil is coming home, EARLY, that fucking asshole.

            Dan’s eyes shut tight. “FUCK.” He sighs, clearly pissed. I try to laugh it off.

            “It’s OK,” I whisper, my hand very hesitantly letting go and pulling out of his pants. I zip them up again and trace along his perfect rippling back. Fucking Phil. Fuck you fuck you fuck you. “Next time.”

            We look into each other’s eyes for a long time until he kisses me again, long and hard, and I try to keep my head from spinning. We stand up and frantically look for our clothes, a little shocked at how they ended up so far across the room, throw them on, and fix each other’s hair, trying to laugh and ignore the fact that we’re still breathing hard because we haven’t left the moment. I look at him and just want to cry. I know it won’t be long, but any wait is more than I can handle.

            We decide to head into the kitchen and act natural before Phil reaches the door, and I’m finally starting to cool off when Dan pushes me against the wall and kisses and touches me all over like it’s the last time in a million years. I moan so loud I’m nearly yelling and then push him away, panting, smiling at the goofy grin that’s now on his face. He leans in close so I can feel his breath on my ear and sighs a single word that makes my heart stop.

            “Tonight.”
