In my mind the ‘Mark’ that Ryland Grace’s partner is with now is Mark Watney, and every time Ryland walked around the NASA hq he glared at every photo of him on the walls.

i've argued back and forth a lot about how bear should've known nikki wasn't being 'the real her' vs how he obviously could've been misled by 'wish!nikki's' performance of nikki as normal in the beginning (before he undeniably found out and his actions became irredeemable), but while watching obsession, i still just get this feeling of. isn't that your friend? shouldn't you know she's acting weird? do you really care so little? if my friend started acting the way wish!nikki did in that first scene in the car ("i'm sorry, yeah, i'm sorry") i would've immediately been weirded out, even if i were hopelessly in love with them. shouldn't he react the same way? i already know the answer but that uncomfortable feeling stays in my gut.

ian was an asshole in obsession but honestly i think i was still able to stand him bc cooper tomlinson is just really funny in the role
