Been I think a yr maybe more since we brewed )0: but hopefully soon! Maybe cider since they’re still in season ! I got two carbonated cider wines today that are so good. And one is a pear base! my dad used to do pear wine so that would also be coo :)
But like, don't you have a pear tree now? You gotta press some of them and make perry. I know they are probably Bartlett pears, not perry pears, but it's probably gonna be good anyway. Do the natural fermentation with wild yeast thing. That would be cool.
Or if you want to get all illegal about it, ferment the pear juice and then distil it and make pear brandy like they do in Europe. Distilling might not be illegal if it's for private use. I dunno the laws on that.
