Both are wonderful dogs. The Tibetan Mastiff is a bit easier to care for so you’ll see a few more of those around. Both are quite expensive to care for too
Yes, the site I was looking up specifics on (because of course it sucked me in further after trying to compare size) had a handy calculator that estimated the total cost of the dog you’re looking into, barring any major disasters.
Honestly it was a very good site, and I decided to bookmark it for future reference if I ever see anyone with questions about buying/adopting their first dog.
I was most surprised and happy about finding out how little genetic defects/health problems the Tibetan breed generally has, although there is one serious rare genetic problem. I’ve had a lot of dogs die to genetic defects, so I know it can be pretty heartbreaking when the failings of the breed catches up to them.

Not having an abusive relationship is a good relationship. You both trust each other and actually care for each others feelings, even if you don't fully get along or are still trying to understand each other. Patience and understanding. These are absent in abusive relationships because one individual decides that they can't handle the pace that they're going and tries to move it in a way that they're comfortable with. It's a control thing and it's pretty disgusting honestly.
