perfect disco vibes today. Dan T does it again!

It's 5 a.m. and my eyes arent closed yet, I want to see the sun rise again, from the edge of the bed, even though it's a few hours until it comes up. I'm actually really nervous because i haven't done it recently, probably the last time I did this was 4 or 5 months ago, and I can't remember how it was like. But tonight is only me and the city, along with one or two cars driving down the ave, everyone's waiting for the sun to rise again.

"I feel stupid here by myself, waiting for a damn fireball to show" I say to myself, but anyway, it's just the Sun, the Moon and me, no one can can hear how my soul craves for sleeping or my eyes crave for sleep once again, I'm really tired of finding my answer so early in the morning, with the damn Bob Dylan playing, I'm tired of being the one waiting.

Tomorrow, I'll make the Sun wait for me instead.

I left home one year

and eight months ago,

more or less.

I didn't left

for any particular reason,

I wasn't running away

from anything.

'My girlfriend's sister captivated me.

It was all whirlwind, heat and flash.

Within a week we killed her parents and hit the road.

It was all desert.

It was all world around us.

We felt sick about all the wasted chances.

I felt sick.

Maybe I threw up, I don't remember it clearly.

“Turn left.” she told me.

A dusty road, leaving a dusty trail behind us, as if we were pointing out our route to the whole country.

“That whore is fussing again!” she yelled above the music and the engine noise, while beating the trunk. “Shut the fuck up!”

The speedometer was about to break, just like my brain.

I was so high I don't know how I was able to keep driving.

But I was.

I drove like never before.

As if God was waiting for me in that shed.

I used to go there with Jack, Lilly, Neal...

It was in the middle of nowhere.

Nobody bothered us.

Nobody could hear the screaming.

Screaming?

What?

I used to go there with my friends, but now they are not here anymore.

I stared at her.

She looked alive.

Alive as a dying animal, fighting for its last gasp.

I kissed her.

An electric flavor ran from my tongue to my toes.

I let go the wheel.

The car vanished,

the road faded out, the desert disappeared.

I disappeared.

She disappeared.

I did not mind dying, as long as I did it kissing her.

(But we kept on the road, straight and fast as a gunshot.)

God was waiting for us in that shed.'
