Daniel is always very thoughtful of you

Has your human needs in consideration all the time

He always reminds you to eat (also to eat healthy)

Or makes sure you don’t need to rest when you go out

Because he can walk for hours, because he doesn’t get tired

But you do, so he always keeps that in mind

Also cares a lot and makes sure you take care of yourself

Just in general, that you sleep well and such

Which if you don’t, he’ll try to help you fall asleep

There are a lot of hugs and cuddling

As well as holding hands all the time

It’s a pretty cute and affectionate relationship

You two can talk for hours and not get bored

Also end up joking around a bit and laughing together

He is a great listener and enjoys when you tell him stuff

He had survived, but at what cost. Sometimes being a deviant wasn’t great, I knew myself. I had grown used to these new emotions that overwhelmed me, but I could tell that Daniel was conflicted. He felt sad, tired, guity, drained, so many things at once that he didn’t even know where to start. 

I could tell by the look in his eyes, by the red in his LED, by his furrowed brow. He felt evil, he felt terrible and couldn’t even stand himself at the moment. 

I softly rested my hand on his knee, startling him a little as I got him out of his thoughts. However, he didn’t look up, he kept staring at the ground. 

“The important thing is that you regret what you did” I mumbled, not knowing what else to say to comfort him. “You know you did wrong, and you didn’t mean to hurt anyone, you just…”

“I… killed them…” Daniel muttered in response, the weight of the world falling over his shoulders. His voice came out strangled. “I loved them, but…” 

“Emma and her mother are okay…” I tried to remind him about the good part in such a terrible situation. “And they won’t find you here” 

“I don’t care about my own safety, Y/N…” He sighed saddly, and it broke my heart a little. 

“Well, I do” I took his hand in a firm yet sweet gesture. “And I hope this is enough for you, because I care about you”

Daniel looked up at me, confused but also surprised. His expression softened, and I could read the gratitude in his eyes. 

“Really? Do you really care about me?”

“I do, a lot” 

Daniel paused, and I dared to lean closer to him. He seemed to be moved by my attitude, and in the end he leaned a little closer too. Our lips touched and I finally felt him relaxing in the seat next to me. As we gave in the kiss, Daniel’s hand rested against my cheek. His sadness was slowly turning into tenderness.
