‘Broken’ graphite on paper, 2017.
by Daniel Florencio
Awfully Deep
I recently went to a BAFTA screening of short film Awfully Deep which is a 12 minute short Produced by my Transference film Producer Damien Cullen and directed by Daniel Florencio. The screening was very well attended (by some lovely people I might add) and the film went down a treat. Awfully Deep is a very well made production that is comedic and entertaining but with a light touch has a thought provoking point to make about the way we live our lives and our attitudes. If you get the opportunity I highly recommend you see it. I can only assume it will do very well on the festival circuit. Well done everyone involved. A joy to watch.
I always love these shorts screenings at BAFTA and seeing such a lovely film made by super people has made me all the more exited about my own upcoming film screening there. Thanks for inviting me guys, and best of luck with this and future projects!
