"traveler," sings venti as he sits in the seat beside aether. "what's the matter?"
aether stares into his glass of water, finger tracing around the rim. "why do you ask?"
venti hums, taking a sip from his own drink. "something seems off. come on, tell me!"
aether sighs, hanging his head. "really, it's nothing."

"no it wohon't," aether giggles, wrapping his arm around his torso protectively. despite his complaints, he already looks happier. his smile seems at least partially genuine.

"xiao," venti whines, drawing out the last letter. the voice comes from right next to xiao's ear. he hadn't realised venti's face was so close. "xiao…"
"yes?" xiao answers softly, bringing a hand up and carding his fingers gently through venti's hair. the other hand slips under his shirt—his corset long since discarded on the floor—and rubs his back soothingly. venti sighs contentedly.
"i like you a lot," he says. xiao lets out a breath of amusement.
"…i like you a lot, too." he gives venti's side a little squeeze. "sleep."
venti giggles, his face pressed into xiao's shoulder. "don' do that…"
"then go to sleep," xiao says, squeezing again, and again, and again until venti is releasing his hold on him in order to protect himself from the ticklish onslaught. he stops then; he doesn't want to go too far.
"mean," complains venti as he places kisses on the sensitive spot on xiao's neck, and xiao has to fight off laughter in order to tell him to knock it off.

what is their laugh like? - he doesn't laugh often, and when he does, it's usually humorless scoffs or quick chuckles. if he's tipsy and jesper makes a particularly funny joke, you can get a laugh out of him, and it'll be this deep, rugged sort of sound, gravelly like his voice always is. but when he gets tickled??? he becomes a giggler. his voice goes up an octave and he has no control over the sounds he's making. it's adorable.
