my cats need their own fanclub at this point lol.

This is Nina, she’s my oldest and first born. I got her from the APL when I was about 11. She’s the one that protects my things when I leave the room (as you can see, she’s sitting on one of my books). She talks back and sounds like a dolphin chattering, she’s very picky on how many things she gets (like I said, she’s particular about getting exactly 5 kisses, she’ll only eat 4 pieces of cat food before leaving and then coming back and doing it again). She’s super big, which is hilarious because the APL told us she’d be no bigger than she was as a kitten when we got her, and now she’s the size of a 3 year old human child.

This is Daenerys, or just Dani because my mom can’t say Daenerys. She’s the feral one that’s a major bitch but we still love her. She’s about 3 or 4 years old, we got her because one of the outside cats gave birth in the broken down car in our driveway and it was way too hot for the kittens, so we brought them in. We ended up only keeping her because she was the only girl. Super big kitty though, she’s one of those cats with like…baseball mitts for paws, she will slap you into next week with those things. Yells super loud when you ask her stuff. Super mean, doesn’t like touched but will rub on you sometimes just. dont. touch. her. Took me a solid 10 minutes to get this pic, because she wouldn’t sit still.

This is Church, I named him Church because he looks like the cat from Pet Sematary. He a big boy. Really big. Outside cat, daddy of literally every cat in the neighborhood. I have 5 other kittens on my porch because of him, but that’s cool. I technically stole him, apparently he’s a lady that lives 2 streets over’s cat, and his names actually Blue. But he doesn’t respond to anything but Church and never leaves my porch so….oops? Dani’s daddy. Real fluff ball for the alpha of the neighborhood. Doesn’t talk. Like at all. I’ve never heard him meow. 

This is Hyuna/Missy. I named her Hyuna. We had the whole litter but then my mom’s ex bf found them and made us get rid of them, but then Hyuna ended up back with us but they named her Missy so…yeah. She’s the dumb one. Will run into walls. She likes sugar though, she’ll eat pudding and lick the frosting off your cake. Her eyes do this weird thing where they change back and forth between green and amber, it’s cool but weird. She has the softest lil meow and it hurts my heart. She loves water, if you go to the bathroom, she’ll scratch at the door until you open in then lay in the sink till you turn it on so she can drink. She looks like she could be Dani’s sister but she’s not. Another big kitty, but she’s not even a year old yet….she’s a big kitty. Giant paws. But so gentle, she doesn’t bite, just kinda lays her mouth on you. Doesn’t like her butt touched though, lol.

The baby of the clan, Taeyong but I just call him Tae or Tae Tae. Rowdy baby boy, doesn’t have his balls anymore tho. He’s small, got lil itty bitty feet. He’s one of those slender and sleek kitties. He’s fast as hell too. He’s only about ½ a year old, my lil baby. Has the most pathetic little peep of a meow I’ve ever heard, it’s so adorable. He cuddles a lot, likes to lay on my shoulder and watch my laptop over my shoulder. The only music he’s ever heard is Kpop. Acts like a tough bitch, but pees on me when he gets a bath. I’ve been hiding him in my room ever since I got him and no one knows about him. My secret child. Shh.

In an exciting and surprising turn of events, Dani had managed to drag Rowen away from his house yet another time. To Rowen, this was an astounding turn of events especially considering his aversion to crowds, loud noises, and just about anything else that could be deemed fun. Both times Dani had brought him to the festival previously had been considerably more enjoyable than Rowen had thought they would be and for that, he was weirdly grateful. 

Tonight, though, they had taken up residence in the arcade for awhile and Rowen was able to show his skills at Space Invaders (top score), Medieval (made it through all of the game on one coin), and Mortal Kombat. “When I was younger, I used to sit with my Nintendo on for hours and then have a headache the next day for school, but it was worth it.” His voice had the smallest hint of a slur to it, a silkiness brought on by having one more beer. He wasn’t drunk yet, but he was pleasantly buzzed and some of the lights were starting to bleed into hypodermic little lines. It was beautiful. He laughed a little, shaking his head at the memory.

“Anyway..I’m ready when you are to leave...if you’re done getting your ass kicked. There’s over a hundred combos for Mortal Kombat and I memorized all of them years and years ago because I had very little to do at certain points in my life. What were some things you did when you were small..I know we haven’t talked about that yet. I tend to take up a lot of space and conversation time all on my own.” He leaned back against the wall, the bright blue of his eyes watching every single move Dani made and swirling what he thought would be his last drink around in the glass.
