I just. Yoongi and Namjoon talking like the damn intellectuals they are. I’m obsessed with them and want to be friends with them so badly. Like hi I love whiskey, like a lot, drink with me and talk about philosophical life things.
How Yoongi knows Elisabeth Kubler-Ross’ name and also looked less than impressed at the 5 stages of grief (because they’re bullshit and grief is cyclical and not a linear thing you move through stages to overcome). And gave an alternative of “I just felt helpless, I was really sad,” for those of us who don’t feel denial or acceptance or whatever we’re told to feel to properly grieve.
Joon just casually mentioning a quantum mechanic and blowing my mind saying that most of the things that surround us in daily life are dead objects (tables, mugs, computer, etc.), so life is the abnormal thing. 🤯 But also, I want to debate that in the context of modern life where things are built instead of living in a more “natural” environment.
And fucking Yoongi fanboying about fanboying. Otaku, fan, mania - to be a fan or mania of something is living with love, they know love. Liiiiikeeee c’mooooonnnnnn. I’ve been saying this so much in the last few years about finding the passions and interests that give you a childlike joy or a sense of warmth regardless of how society sees these things. I used to think I should read classic literature because that would make me intelligent but I never actual read anything. As soon as I gave that notion up, I couldn’t stop reading anything that interested me.
