When Dani came back from Archer's, she saw the game cartridge as she was pulling the blankets back. Reading the note, she couldn't help but smile at Austin's attempts to get her out, but it faded when she read the last sentence. A date. Suddenly, Archer's unsubtle questioning made sense, and she sat down hard on her bed. Dani stared at the note, wondering if she had read it wrong, but the letters didn't change. What did one do on a date? What should she wear? She didn't have clothes. What did this all mean? Dani flopped onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling. "Well... that's a development..."
