50 sets of eyes! I recall this being much harder last year, though that was probably lack of sleep talking. I couldn’t think of 50 sets of eyes, and it took me days to do it, and it looked awful. This time, I went and looked at various collections of cartoon eyes and drew all the ones that interested me. I wanted to try styles I normally wouldn’t, while still sticking to a style I’m comfortable with.
Once again I used my sketchbook, rather than bristol board, because it’s quick and easy to set up and move on a moment’s notice. While I LOVE my dip pens, for ease and speed, I used microns for this assignment. Mostly a .08, but a .01 is mixed in there too.
