Sadly, I don't think he will make it up until the new year... Nobody said it because my sister was there (and she was hysterical the entire time) but the look on the paramedic's faces told my mom and I that there wasn't much time left.

His lungs were filled with fluids and they had to put an oxygen machine on him. His blood pressure was extremely high as well and he was very short of breath. He was super cold too and his fever was around 101 degrees.

Dear Past Me,

I am so fucking proud of you, because you made it through the tough times. I'm so proud that you chose to stop cutting. I'm so proud that you chose to realize that suicide wasn't the answer. I'm so proud that you did the things you did, and made the choices you made, because it shaped me into the person I am today. I don't want you to regret anything you've done, because it all worked out amazing in the end.

I'm proud of you. I knew you could do it.
