Since Koa was about 2 he’s LOVED dandelions. He will go out of his way to pick them, even in the hardest of places where they sometimes grow. He will always give me the first one to make a wish and then he will make a wish himself. Mostly he always wishes for the same thing “that everyone in the world would be vegetarian”. It’s the sweetest wish, awhile ago he decided he couldn’t eat animals. He’s a massive empath. He cries in animal movies, he cries if he sees other children hurting bugs, he cries if he sees a dog or cat here in Bali sick or hurt {which is a lot}. His love for animals and their feelings is so strong. It’s his choice and we support him fully. We make sure he’s getting protein from all other sources that he needs. He is strong and healthy and happy. Even though his wish will never come true I can nurture him to make the best decisions for him and his soul. He also makes me take a photo of the dandelion and send it to my mum, his nanny to make a wish too. There is something magical about dandelions if you choose to see it. Or you could just see weeds.
