I was also thinking the marriage/ love related customs ofc extend to daybreak town and general ux folks. Imagining the kids weaving together flower garlands for ceremonies or the union leaders having one huge wedding to solidify their bond as leaders as well as friends. "I choose to love you,trust you, and work beside you" is also something with announcing I think

I love the garland idea!! It sounds like something that would be really pretty to hang across the buildings and/or wherever they’re getting married (I can imagine that the fountain is a popular spot). The types of flowers chosen could carry a lot of symbolism too.
For the union leaders, I like the thought of them having something star shaped and breaking and sharing the five points as a symbol of the five of them being parts of the same whole. The paopu and wayfinder ideas could tie back to this. I’m thinking it would be something crafted, like a metal star or something. Or even a star-shaped wedding cake!
