Maybe my hangover was rougher than I thought because I had the craziest idea for a fic and mind you I’ve been simultaneously watching Heated Rivalry and Supernatural while with my very festive Latinx family, clearly my subconscious took this and mixed it up so here goes:
Russian/Dominican Cas, who is a ballet dancer overseas but comes to US for holiday, meets charismatic green eyed Puerto Rican Dean at a discotek.
They hit it off but never speak outside the dance floor, happens over the next few years. Benny is afrolatinx promoter/manager so he knows all the big dancers in all the major cities, he and Dean have a past but Benny is in love with his truest love Andrea. All in all, they’re all friends.
Years pass and things get intense with Cas and Dean however it’s a long situationship. Cas joins a ballet company in the states but they can’t see each other much except once in a while at the clubs or when Dean comes to watch him dance, they break off their situationship when Cas’ family finds out, because machismo culture (flails arms).
Time passes and Cas and a few of his fellow dancers are commissioned to perform at a wedding, unbeknownst to Cas, it’s Deans wedding to Amara, who has baby trapped him (not really his baby) , the secret comes out when Benny and Cas overhear Amara and her crew cackling about the farse so they take it in their hands to crash the wedding. (Telenovela dramatics ensue)
The truth comes out and Cas whisks Dean away and they end up in the dance floor where it all began for them. They decide to go for it no matter what anyone says and unsurprisingly, it works out. And they lived happily ever after.
