Mortals often came to him, so her arrival was no surprise to him in the slightest. The door to his little hut swung open on its own and the Witch looked at her as though he’d been waiting.

   “ what are you doin - ” he’s cut off before he can finish, and while he’s tempted to pull his hand away, he doesn’t. her enthusiasm, however annoying it may have seemed in the past, has always been contagious.

   “ where are we going? ”
