48 days until band camp starts
So while I freaked out about that I made the playlist for our dance block. Although if anyone has any additional songs, that'd be great. :)

Inspiration
I usually have inspirations - someone/something to make me want to make a choreography piece or write poetry. Lately I haven't had that quite yet. I feel sparks here and there, but never a fire. I need that fire to make me want to create. I wonder if there's anything on Tumblr...
Ways To Say Goodbye
My friend asked me to create a piece for this show he's curating. It's a very interesting title - Ways To Say Goodbye.
I've done a lot of thought. There are so many "ways" to say goodbye. In that there are actions that you do as ways to say goodbye like waving or hugging, etc. But there are also the goodbyes that make you feel something. The emotional goodbyes, the relieving goodbyes, the hesitated goodbyes, the "good riddance" type of goodbyes. There are goodbyes that you can say to parts of life like childhood, innocence, etc. It just makes me think so much. There are so many ways I can go about making this dance piece that I don't know how to go about it.
I've created a movement phrase with the goodbye actions, but now I have to actually create something around. Do I create a story? Does it need to be a story? Can it just be movement for the sake of movement but still have meaning? Does it NEED narrative.
BLAH.
I'm just going to create along the way. It'll be an experience.
