2012年か2013年の東京アートブックフェアー（わたしはNievesをアシストしていた）のとき、ダンとジャスティーヌが「来週はニューヨークアートブックフェアだ」と言う。彼らの話を聞いているうちに、来年はNYABFへ行こうと決心した。実際にウェブマガジンに小さな記事を書くと言う名目で、NYABFに翌年行くことができた。NYABFの間はずーっと会場にいて本を探し、友達にhiと挨拶したりしていた。全然退屈なんかすることなく、めちゃくちゃ楽しかった。自分がアジアの辺地から、東京からやって来た小人のように思えた。だってあのエネルギッシュなニューヨークのパワー！全てが強烈だった。だけど、なんだか自分の居場所のように快適だった。ダンとジャスティヌの言っていたことは本当だった。ありがとう！
Perimeter Editionsの新刊を手にする機会に恵まれていた。毎年、どんどん面白くなっていくのに興奮を覚えた。アートブックとしてブックデザインやコンセプトも考えられてつくられていくのが目に見えてわかった。どうか友人たちへ、彼らの本にご注目を（リッキー・スワローだけじゃない。メルボルンのカルチャーやアートを想像できないとしても、彼らのパッションや活動にもっと注目して！）。
Dan and Justine said ”Next weekend, we’re in New York Art book Fair !” in Tokyo Art Book Fair around 2012 or 2013. Listening to their talk; how is great NYABF and New York, I decided to go there next year. Getting a small reporting job for a web magazine, actually I visited NYC and NYABF next year. During my first NYABF, almost all day I was looking for books and said hi to my friends. Never bored and I was so exciting for 4days. That vibes in NYC and NYABF! I was surprised... I was a small girl from Tokyo, Asia...but I felt something my place. I mean great and comfortable. Anyway It was true what Dan and Justine said. Thank you for your recommendation!
I’ve had good chances to look new titles published by Perimeter Editions. Their publications are more and more amazing every year. They have been thought about book design and concept as an art book. Those book’s construction have made us amazing every time. Dear my friends, please take a look at their publications from Melbourne!
