raven  was  ready  to  give  up  for  the  day   when  clarke  entered  the  small  room.   she’s  been  trying  all  day  and  many  days  previously  to  figure  out  a  way  to  strengthen  the  signal  so  they  can  communicate  with  earth.    (  for  bellamy’s  sake  more  than  any  of  them  )    it  frustrated  her  that  she  couldn’t  figure  this  out ,   and  clarke  was  just  in  time  with  her  usual  motivational  words.    truth  is,  they  all  have  faith  in  her  but  maybe  they’re  wrong.    ‘   of  course  you  do.   ’    she  says  with  fake  confidence ,  taking  off  her  headpiece.    ‘    i  just  thought  this  would  be  easier.   ’    easier  than  the  fuel  problem ,  she  means  but  they  both  know  that.     ‘   might  help  calm  bellamy’s  nerves ,  if  he  knew  that  octavia  was  okay.    ’

‘    pass  me  that  screwdriver.    ’        raven’s  eyes  don’t  leave  the  circuit  but  her  hand  extends  to  where  clarke  is.    they  have  a  lot  of  work  to  do  until  the  ring  is  up  and  fully  running  but  they  have  to  start  somewhere.   she’s  focused  on  checking  all  the  main  systems  and  panels  are  working  properly  so  they  don’t  have  any  life  threatening  issues  later.     ‘    you  up  for  a  lesson  ?   ’     she’s  looking  at  clarke  now,  with a  playful  smirk  decorating  her  lips.   it’d  be  useful  for  the  rest  to  learn  how  to  operate  the  systems  in  case  something  happens,  or  at  least  learn  the  basics  of  it  and  clarke  had  already  done  her  first  lesson  of  rocket  science  a  long  time  ago. 

           head  tilts  to  the  side  slightly,    the  glow  of  the  fire  casting  shadows  against  olive  skin.    her  brain  had  grown  to  become  tactical,   using  such  light  differences  to  hide  her  face  from  those  around  her  -  to  keep  thoughts  to  herself  instead  of  allowing  those  she  didn’t  want  reading  her  expression.   yet,   eyes  are  trained  upon  the  blonde  as  she  sits  opposite  her,   greeting  her  as  if  nothing  had  happened.   she  shifts,   uncomfortable  with  the  facade  the  mighty  princess  was  giving  her  -  it  was  quite  a  show,     ❛      drop  the  act,   clarke.    ❜    it’s  a  bark,   deep  and  rough,   fangs  covered  in  foam,        ❛    you  might  be  able  to  fool  them  . . .    ❜   head  jerks  towards  the  grounders  that  stand  beside  their  beloved  commander,   the  villagers  that  stood  within  the  rubble  where  their  houses  once  stood,        ❛    but  i’m  not  them.    ❜      a  brief  pause  as  eyes  level  with  clarke’s,   narrowed  accusingly,        ❛      you  weren’t  here,   or  you’d  be  dead,   princess.    ❜       /     @damnchoice​

  ❝      we      can’t     give      up      now  ,      clarke    .     not     after    all     we’ve      done   to    bring      our      people     here.       they     need      you     .      I   NEED   YOU     to    give   them      hope     .       ❞      walls      constructed     of     abhorrence   ,    famine     &     illness   scream    ,     striving      for     seemingly       unattainable      deliverance     .      here   where  all    hope    dies     she      asks       clarke      to      birth      some,      to     feed     those     who     have      EATEN     THEIR     FRIENDS    with     more      than      just      most    beloved     flesh     .     ❝       i     need     you     to     do     what      you’ve      done     before   .   make     them     strong       .      MAKE   THEM    BELIEVE    .       ❞

luke ( @woekru / @damnchoice ) has such great grasps on their characters, especially on their multi where their backstories are just SO well thought out and so detailed and just *chefs kiss* Love to see it!!
