It had been a couple of rough months for Ada. She got so many missing calls and angry texts from her parents and some relatives that made her so anxious and nervous...but she had to do the proper grieving and she had to do it alone. She needed time to think things through, to decide which people she still wanted in her life and which ones she didnât.
Ada soon realized that she didnât miss her family... well, there was one person she did miss. There was one she missed so much that it was physically painful. She shouldnât be missing him this much, she shouldnât be missing her cousin as much as she did because she knew it wasnât just a silly thing, there was more, way more than it should be. Maybe she should take this opportunity to start over and bury her feelings for him deep down.
But then again, she had always been weak when it came to him so without thinking about it, she simply texted him her address and a simple âplease come, I miss youâ. Ada knew he would come, they were incredibly close and while she had been ignoring his calls and texts, she knew he would still come, even if it was to yell at her for not staying in touch, but at least she would see him.
As she predicted, a couple of hours later, the bell rang and she practically jumped off the couch. She cleared out her throat and pushed a string of her hair behind her ear and walked toards the door and opened it. There he was, looking as handsome as ever (if not more than usual).
âHiâ she said rather breathlessly.
