The only sound heard in the dead of the night were the clashing of your swords. Brutal and clean, metal shrieking as you fought. The vibrations or the blade carried down the castle floors and walls, you were surprised no one had rushed to stop you yet.Â
Yubin was relentless in her pursuit. Every blow of her sword, measured and calculated and precise. She gained steps on you, pushing you back, forcing you to defend yourself. There was not a single chance for you to attack her. It would only be a moment before youâre cornered or distracted.Â
Though, it did not matter much. Her sword was only an extension for her righteous fury.Â
Anger, you could understand. However, it was her silence that scared you.Â
You have committed an action so wrong that there was no redemption. Not this time. Not from her.Â
At last, youâve crossed a line even she cannot ignore.Â
Her eyes were empty but fixated, sheâd shut away any of her emotionsâgoal orientedâto either catch you or kill you. She only wore such a look at war.Â
You wouldâve tried your usual pathetic routes. An apology, a joke, a remembrance of a memory, some excuseâany excuse to justify why you did what you did.Â
But even you knew there was no redemption from this. You will have to live with that.Â
Perhaps, you were not saddened by the fact she considered you a threat. A traitor. An evil.Â
Or that, she found no mercy. No more chances.Â
No, what hurt you most was that she showed not a single shred of hesitation. If not hesitation, not a single mournful look for the years youâd spent fighting by her side. That easily, sheâd thrown you out of her mind and heart. At the end, nothing overpowered her duty. Not even you.Â
Your foot caught on the edge of an uneven tile and you went careening on your back. Your sword swept from your hands in one clean strike, the same strike that left a warm gash on your cheek.Â
Tentatively, you brought a gloved hand to feel the warmth soak up the fabric.Â
There, you understood. Your one saving grace, a final act of kindness from her. The pulled strike to only weakly mar your cheek and let you know that, perhaps, she did feel some emotion in hunting you. Even if it was brief.Â
You looked up at her. Yubin looked down at you.Â
Her sword pointed at your neck.

Partially because your number 100 song is more interesting than your 1 song, I'll go with number 100 and Dami, if 100 is taken I'll go with 5.
I pray to God it's fluff-related or at the very least not angst hell.
Super proud of you for reaching 400 followers kare, killing it like usual

TW: Alcohol, partying, sensual descriptions(?)
Your friends knew that she was bad news the moment she walked into the room.
Her eyes never left you as she took a seat on the outside perimeter of the room. You had been carelessly dancing with your friends before one of them pointed her out to you.
You had been stupid enough to send her a wink as she looked your way. An even stupider thing for you to do was to walk over there and ask her to dance to with you.
But, alcohol had loosened your limbs and lips, and before you knew it, your mouth was inviting her to dance with you.
You werenât scared of her saying no. The alcohol in your body was messing with your thoughts enough. You felt crazily untouchable, like you had reached a new high after hitting rock bottom.
Do you know what the crazier part of that night was? She said yes.
You remember every second of your encounter, as her presence was enough to sober up your mind. The way her body melded against yours, the way her lips brushed against your skin, and the way her hair moved against the crowd was enough to drive any person crazy. You found yourself missing her touch the moment she finally left your side that night.
Youâve been chasing that high every night since your encounter with her. With only a memory of her beauty, youâre forced to search every night for a shadow that you cannot catch.
On a whim, you decide to wear the same outfit that you wore that very night. When your hand slips into your pocket accidentally, you feel a piece of paper touch your bare skin.
You excitedly pull out the piece of paper, only to see a single name: Dami.
That woman that you had been dancing with wasnât a flirty stranger.
That was your ex.
