                    His hat is tilted forward, from where the back of the brim hits the wall. Enough that it's annoying, but not enough that he needs to remove the bowler. No, he can still see— she's right next to him. Right within reach, and his hand reaches out to seek hers with a familiar ease. When he leans forward, his hat rests normally. Flat. 

Fingers tangle, he shifts a little closer to the heat that radiates off of her. This is the calm before the storm, and he’s going to try and CHANGE it. Gamble with risks at fate yet again, but not entirely for himself this time. Cinder is just as important. 

     He's a rat from the top of his hat down to the soles of his shoes, covered      in gutter filth and whatever else they're saying now a days. Dirt. Lies. Dis-      appointment. They're all the same empty words, and he could care less.      Why should he when the people who use them still turn to him for help?      But it's not one of them that approaches him. It's a woman, short with a      stride of confidence, and that alone has him making the simple comment        ( sarcastic, really. It's said with a joking tone )                ❛  Well, hello gorgeous.  ❜       And he laughs in a few simple notes. A grin tips his lips up. She doesn't      belong here. She's out of her element.
