The letters are still coming! Why in the Void are they still coming?
Keeper Deālani wants to apologize? A chance to explain herself? What is there to explain? She knew what I was - knew what my mother was - and kept it a secret from me! She didnāt even defend me from the rest of the clan. There is nothing to explain. There is no forgiveness to grant.
Iāve sent her letter after letter telling her that I want nothing to do with her or any of them, but they still arrive. Iāve gotten to the point to where I donāt even open her letters anymore. I even glared at the poor messenger who tried to hand me the damned thing. Iāll need to apologize to him later.
I think the most aggravating thing about her actions is that she claimed to love me my whole life. She tried so hard to be a mother figure for me, but did nothing be an actual mother. She was a teacher to me, nothing more.

Iām... surprised, to say the least.
So far, everyone whose heard my story hasnāt looked at me with fear or disgust. Iāve even gotten sympathy, understanding, and a stern lecture about my recklessness. To be honest, Iām surprised that the Seeker didnāt stab me.
Maybe I blew this whole thing out of proportion.
...no, Iām still a super dangerous mage that could be mistaken for an abomination.
But, their words do give me hope. Maybe thereās still a chance for me to serve and make a better future.
