S - A Random Fact About Myself

The first concert I ever went to was Alison Krauss and Union Station. It was in Mobile, which I remember because I got to go through the underwater bridge for the first time and I was terrified for shark related reasons. Don’t remember how old I was. 8?

C - Who I Like And Why I Like Them

This guy I’ve known and casually interacted with for a little over a year maybe. He’s a goof, he’s smart, reads a lot, is very open-minded and socially aware. He has a fantastic taste in music and we enjoy similar things. Also he’s way cute which is always a bonus.

R - Favorite Song At The Moment

Greek Tragedy by The Wombats. I can’t stop listening to it

O - My Eye Color 

Blue-ish gray. The closest color on that 1998 eye color chart is probably A30

(I thought I was finished but then I remembered I have to do your last names too. Although I already have the letters from Marshall so I just have Anderson. Actually only two more letters, really)

N - Favorite Place To Shop At

Hm. My Favorite Books is a really nice bookstore. Really any bookstore tbh. Bargains are always nice though

D - Hardest Thing I’ve Ever Been Through. 

My grandmother having, and dying from, brain cancer was really bad. I was 11 so I was just at that point where I was actually able to understand shit. My grandma very openly hated what was happening to her. She had been very independent and took good care of herself and practically everyone else around her. She basically lost everything about herself. Most of her memory, her ability to talk, her motor skills. She was never mean, but she was always angry and upset. She definitely wasn’t ready to die, which is rough seeing as a kid raised in a Christian household. You were supposed to just follow “God’s plan” and be happy for the next step, Heaven. My grandma was a hardcore Christian so the idea that whatever she had here was so much better than what she was supposed to be getting was both parts depressing and terrifying. On top of that it was hard for me to understand why a “merciful god” would treat such a wonderful person so horribly. Basically the whole experience made me question everything I had ever believed in. It’s the main reason I’m not a Christian anymore. It also made me totally isolate myself and spurred a lot of arguments with some of the people I considered friends at the time. Also there was a bunch of shit going on with my parents and home-life at the time and basically sixth grade was the worst year of my life *finger pistols*
