My Mom shows how you can easily cook a delicious Dal Mash. It is quick and awesome when cooking in the kitchen during summer. Like. Comment. Share. Subscribe. Recipe: 1. Soak Two Cups of Dal Mash in water for at least 2 hours. 2. Put in a pressure cooker along with 3 cups of water. 3. Add one a half teaspoon of salt (depends on your taste). 4. Add half a teaspoon on Tumeric powder. 5. Add 10-15 Dried Whole Red Chilies. 6. Put on the lid and let the pressure build for 10-12 minutes. 7. Let it off the heat when done. 8. Prepare the Bighar by adding 5 tablespoons of oil to one sliced onion. Let it turn brown. Add in two teaspoons of black Zeera/Cumin and then add it to the Dal Mash. 9. Serve. Goes well with a salad (cucumber, onion, tomatoes, salt, lemon juice). Enjoy with a Naan or Roti.
