Akaito: Kaito but red. Earlier depictions had him be more "manly" than Kaito.

Daito: Kaito but orange. Friendly and playful. Likes cute things.

Kikaito: Kaito but yellow. Originally had no "official personality". Fanon depictions have his personality be "bright and happy".

Nigaito: Kaito but green. Originally portrayed as calm, newer characterizations have him as a shy and sick boy. Akaito likes to bully him.

Kaiko: Kaito but woman. Gentle and kind.

Taito: Kaito but purple. Has yandere tendencies. (a-durr. he's a yandeloid!) Inflicts harm upon himself sometimes. Usually associated with Juon Kiku.

Kizaito: Kaito but pink. Charismatic and narcissistic.

Zeito: Kaito but black and red. He is a kuudere. Due to his dark appearance, he is sometimes mischaracterized as evil.

Kageito: Kaito but black and white. He is shy, playful, and curious. He hates sunlight and only moves around at night and in the shadows. He likes Zeito because he's the only other person up at night.

After several years, Kanagi steps down as leader of the magical girls of East Kamihama and passes the torch to Mikage and Riko.  The two opt to colead, just as Yachiyo and Mifuyu once did the magical girls of West Kamihama.  They divide their responsibilities, with Mikage overseeing Daito while Riko oversees Kousho, but as co leaders they still reach out to each other and discuss any situation before making a decision.  The two make perfect foils to each other, as Mikage has the ambition to take risks and get things done, while Riko tends to be more cautious and think through the potential consequences of any action taken; together they make a perfect team.

As time goes on, Riko begins running her family’s bento shop, and has learned from her parents how to prepare the food that they sell.  Taking a page out of Ashley’s book, she has also dipped her toes into being an influencer, with a focus on food preparation.  Ashley, Manaka, Tsumugi, the Yakumo sisters, Konoha, Leila, Yachiyo, Tsuruno, and Rabi are among her first followers, as well as her old babysitter, whose child has grown up hearing stories about the days that Riko and the babysitter spent together and so wants to be just like Riko.  Riko gifts them her old whale-shaped knife when the kid is old enough. Himika is one of the first new employees she hires.

I've always felt like this moment in the Fifth Element movie anytime I do a leap on Neomuna, so I had to make a tribute for #d2springzine2023!

While I'm at it this evening, here's some bio translations I gave a year or two ago for the characters of SHAKE II, an obscure pachislot game with a funky soundtrack created by Daito Giken (大都技研).

BOY (ボゥイ)

The prince of hell, reincarnated into the human world as a DJ! He'll be at the club tonight, partyin' nonstop 'til morning light! BOY's got great physical strength and a foolhardy demeanor to go with it, but when he's in front of the ladies... Dude gets major-league stage fright. Likes: Junk food, skateboarding Dislikes: Unenthusiastic audiences, ladies in general

F.K. (エフ・ケー)

A hunk of junk robot who's a die-hard fan of American comics. He's usually pretty clumsy and is something of a blockhead, but has an oddly tender heart which makes him super popular. He tends to go haywire whenever he's on the run from trouble! Likes: American comics, kids Dislikes: Dogs, complicated math

NADJA (ナディア)

With more than a million albums sold, her live performances are constantly packed! Nadja, the insanely charming singer who is THE talk of town in the showbiz world, is a woman who is an inheritor of the ancient Dracula family bloodline. Though, she doesn't seem to be as fond of blood as her descendants... Likes: Romanée-Conti wine, aroma baths Dislikes: Blood, meals containing garlic

SKELETON (スケルトン)

The ratings for variety shows tend to skyrocket as viewers eagerly await this highly talkative and popular TV host! He's easily flattered... But in his private life, he's a dedicated worker that crams in as much info as he can. Likes: Gossip magazines Hates: Horoscopes (Won't look at them since they're so easy to believe)

KARIS (カリス)

A dancer who's an absolute narcissist. He rules on Dancing Night with his stylish steps. He also makes fitness products as a side business, but those have been selling rather poorly... Likes: His own reflection Hates: Mummy hunters

SABOT & MR. HONEY / SABOHANI (サボハニ)

An elusive duo of mysterious and unidentified lifeforms. They recently hijacked a TV station's space satellite to center in on their favorite trio! (Boy, Nadja and F.K.) What is their ultimate aim? An investigation is warranted! Likes: Unknown Dislikes: Unknown
