Dewey had yet to talk to his Aunt Daisy since everything that happened at the hotel, though that didn’t mean she hadn’t been around. Since Louie’s injury, Daisy was there just about everyday, helping Uncle Donald with whatever he needed for the youngest triplet. Meanwhile, Dewey kept his space. Louie didn’t want to talk to him, Webby and Huey weren’t thrilled to be around him either, and Dewey had been avoiding Donald like the plague since getting yelled at outside the hospital. It only made sense to assume that Daisy was unhappy with him too, officially feeling isolated from his entire family in the giant home of McDuck Manor. Despite how large the place was though, it was inevitable that he’d talk to his family again eventually.
Dewey had just stepped out of his room to grab a snack when he was met with Daisy’s presence in the kitchen. It was too late to turn around and pretend he didn’t see her, unable to avoid her gaze as she was sitting at the table. If she hadn’t asked him to come sit with her, he likely wouldn’t have said anything at all. Hesitantly, he came over and sat across from his aunt. He had a feeling he already knew what was coming, not meaning to come off defensive as he asked, “.. Let me guess, you wanna yell at me, too?" @msdciisy
