im having my final session of Daia’s campaign and over the course of the like two or three years i’ve been playing this binch she went from completely unable to fight and likely to die in one hit to absolutely wiping the floor with an extremely dangerous opponent, taking him from full hitpoints to zero in one hit, cleaving him out of reality itself, and eating his martial arts knowledge with her accursed hellspear.
daia is going into probably the penultimate battle of the campaign with a baby strapped to her back. its not her baby. she stole it.
MY DM SAID GAY RIGHTS

sad news from todays exalted game, where in a display of horrible excess three of the pcs got into a petty fight about whose private jet they were going to use
27 for all the exalted ones >:3
If your character had one thing to say to their parents before they died, what would it be?Prophet never knew his parents and while he desperately wantsto know who they are he also fears what he might find. He has no idea what he wouldsay if he actually got to meet them, let alone one last time.~Sachi is similar. If she met her parents, she would simply want to knowwho they were. She knows all too well how they died. (As for her the people she considers her parents now? She doesn’t want to even THINK of the possibility of their deaths.)~Daia doesn’t blame them, she will say, if asked to look backand consider this. She understands. It’sa hard world. All the same, she has absolutely nothing to say to the people whosold her away when they should have been holding her close.~Harvester’s parents aren’t dead, or at least that’s what hereassures himself with at night, when he’s crouching for shelter under theboughs of a cedar during a rainstorm, or having a moment of lucidity in betweentankards as he stares at the designs the stains make on the grimy table infront of him. He doesn’t even know if he can bring himself to ever see themagain while they are alive, let alone on their deathbeds, but if he were to, theirvanished son, he would tearfully beg for their forgiveness.~Andai and Taiya, The Firebirds, were, in life, two of the star performers of their troupe; two souls as joyful and vivaciousas the garda birds their fire-dancing act emulated. If he were to get a lastchance to see them, their son would smile sadly and, choked up, say something about finallytaking up the family mantle. (He’s already said everything he can to his other parent.)
3, 19!
3. Most humble VS Most arrogantPho probaby wins the Humble Award. He is deeply uncomfortable with the idea of being seen as any kind of hero or exemplar, something which mounts up to an ongoing identity crisis considering he’s sort of a Solar of Note whether or not he wants to be.Daia is definitely the most arrogant. She may hold herself to high personal standards, but they are standards she herself set because she sees herself as someone capable of reaching them. She’s not without her own self-worth issues but if Phoenix deals with failure and tragedy by directing blame inward at himself, Daia does the opposite. 19. Cast iron stomach VS Most squeamishHarv is definitely the least squeamish character I have. When necrosurgery is your vocation, you need to build of a tolerance for nasty, nasty sights and smells. It’s worth noting that working with rotting meat on a regular basis has somewhat decreased the amount of meat he actually eats. He always preferred vegetable dishes, and now he prefers them more.Prophet is probably my most squeamish character, despite the fact he’s a literally a humanoid spider. Blood, grime, muck and gore all make him feel a bit green around the gills, to speak nothing of his own occasional cravings for live bugs and (egad!) small mammals.
