Rock’N Roll remake on Korg Gadget

The video above shows how to play the music with the free version of Korg Gadget.

The screenshots below are from the Mac version, but you’ll be able to redo the music on iPhone, iPad, as well as Nintendo Switch!

I assembled stems for Daft Punk’s ‘Emotion’ from different sources (specifically, the original song for the intro chords, the Human After All remix pack for the secondary chords and the 'yeah’/digitech synth wah sound, your website for the drums and sub-bass, and a soundcloud page for the acapella. Figured it could be useful to have all those sort of compiled into usable stems for remixes and such, or just wanting to change volume levels on different elements.

Technical information:

This project uses the Daft Beats “Da Funk” which is a drum kit with isolated beats extracted from the original track. 

The pink pads are the main melody sliced into the drum kit. We isolated it from the track using phase cancelation and a secret tool that will be covered in depth in a forthcoming premium tutorial. 

The acid TB-303 was recreated using this plug-in : TAL-U-NO-LX  The trick was to use gliding to recreate the slide effect from the TB-303. It’s not perfect but sounds good enough for the remake. You can also use the new Wavetable synth in Ableton Live 10, with a different timber (included in the download). Some distortion effect using the new Pedal from Live 10 helped shaping the sound further.

I pulled this from the promo CD of Stronger. It’s in FLAC with tags so transcoding to WAV is no problem.

ALIVE 2007 HUMAN TOGETHER

This is the remake of Daft Punk Alive 2007 Encore. 

It features Human After All, Prime Time Of Your Life (Para One Remix), Revolution 909, Together, One More Time, Music Sound Is Better With You, and Aerodynamic.

When Playing it don’t forget to use the filter on the LOOP IT track!

We included an Alive Set of Stardust also, so you can have fun playing it live!

ALIVE 2007 DA FUNK

For this remake we had to isolate Da Funk main melody, and that wasn’t easy!

The weird noise near the end was also hard to get, and might need some more work. When we release the Touch It version of Daft Club Alive 2007 (means with the interface for Lemur), we will also refine all the liveset projects.

INTERSYNTHA 5555 Da Funk TB-303

We have recreated the acid lead that comes in the middle of the Da Funk track.

It was originally made with a Roland TB-303. 

This Intersyntha 5555 (i5555 for friends) is composed of 2 devices, The first one is composed of two layers so you can create incredible effects.

The second one is one sample in Simpler Slice mode, with the Thru settings for a better playback when changing the pattern.
