The other side of this scenario

I think Daemon would have a completely different reaction than Rhaenrya would in his shoes. I think he’d see it for what it was and wouldn’t try to make excuses for ‘Nyra.

He actually doesn't think much about her valyrian looks, assumes she's a lyseni whore import based of her name (it's lyseni), and gladly spends the next week fucking her before sauntering off back to the Red Keep.

(Not before handing the brothel owner 2 months worth of coin on top of his payment for her maidenhead, with the strict instruction that no one else is to fuck her)

He keeps visiting her, secretly, and he's honestly too busy fucking her to notice that she has his mother's mismatched eyes and unique beauty, lacking only the crooked nose and golden blonde hair, instead having his same shade of hair.

It's maybe 3 months in when he finally realizes it, slowly recognizing his mother's features in her but it is a remark by Mysaria of her being born in King's Landing to a whore from a brothel Daemon frequented in his youth.

That realization also just so happens to come while Daemon is staring at her nude form and the small curve of her growing baby bump.

Dark!Daemon who suddenly finds himself aroused, rather then disgusted, at the knowledge that he put a babe in his daughter's womb.

She's his daughter, grown from his seed, she is made for him. He'll fuck her, hand on her swollen belly, as he makes her call him daddy.

(He'll eventually find a way to pass her off as the daughter of some Lyseni noble and marry her, some excuse of peace since Lys was part of the Triarchy, and keep filling her with babe of the purest valyrian blood.)

This was so dark and compelling, I feel like I should hand my blog over to you.

Like if the whore never tells them they got pregnant (cause they honestly might not know who the father is) and that daughter grows up to work in the same brothel, it's entirely plausible that a Lord could end up fucking his own daughter.

Just...consider that happening to Daemon or Aegon.

Like if she has the targ coloring, it's more obvious but if she also had a mother who was originally from Lys? Whores from Lys tend to have valyrian features. (The reasons ain't great ngl, just check out the asoiaf wiki page on Lys)

If she doesn't have predominantly valyrian features (like the hair, the eyes might not be noticed at first), or just has non at all, neither would have any reason to question her.

The possible scenarios are so amazingly depraved.

Example: Daemon/Aegon purchasing her maidenhead at auction while drunk, unknowing to their relation and not discovering it till later.

Maybe they find out the next morning or realize it on their own.

Or maybe it's not till much later, after they've made her their personal whore and possibly got her pregnant, is it revealed to them. (Congrats! You are both a father & grandfather!)

With that thought you’ve put me into a full on mental spiral because… how would they know? It’s entirely possible and now that I’m thinking about it it could very likely happen.

The potentials for this though! I find it more likely for daemon simply because of age of if we’re in an au where no war happens or Aegon doesn’t die, I could see this being him.
