This is an OC I made for "Daemons of the Shadow Realm".
Alek Åsmund (he/they): INFP, gay/toric/bigender/asexual, hails from Scandinavia. His family passes down the Daemon pair, Tomtenisse, a pair of gnomes that serve their assigned master...on the condition of porridge (their favorite meal) at least once a year.
As a child, they were cursed by a Daemon pair called St. Anthony's, whose flames cause ergotism, leading to his skin being scarred. His parents desperately searched for a Daemon pair that could ease the pain. The best they found is Quince, a pair of sweet and sour Daemons who use the helpful properties of sugar and sourness (acidity) to ease the pain of the curse.
Fortunately, their pairs were compatible enough for him to keep both. Unfortunately, he eavesdropped on his parents saying they won't give Tomtenisse to their now fragile and weakened son. He refused to have been cursed for nothing. They'll hunt down the St. Anthony's master and get answers out of whoever it is. He forms a contract with Tomtenisse behind his parents' backs, and left home on his own quest, eventually learning that their parents got killed searching for him.
Tomtnisse: Brynjar (long beard) & Lennart (curly beard) (both he/him). They've always had their own name and never accepted any nicknames from new masters. They've become like his two, gay dads after losing their mom and dad.
Quince: Jelly (sweet red) & Gummy (sour yellow) (both she/her). Alek named them after Jell-o (his favorite sweet) and sour gummy worms (his favorite sour). The two of them can turn their bodies into whatever they eat until it's digested and can only transform if Jelly eats sweets and Gummy eats sours. They can salivate and spit up chunks of what they become made of (like hairballs, but it still tastes flawless and keeps their master well-fed).
