            to  say  hana  was  nervous  was  a  massive  understatement  .  her  encounter  with  daeho  was  drastically  less  awkward  than  when  they  saw  each  other  at  the  saint  laurent  event  ,  and  perhaps  that’s  why  she  found  herself  sitting  in  the  back  seat  of  the  uber  ,  parked  outside  of  his  house  .  hana  accepted  his  invitation  to  come  over  without  hesitation  ,  but  now  that  was  she  was  there  ,  her  heart  was  settled  in  her  throat  .  after  a  few  moments  of  debating  on  running  for  the  hills  ,  hana  finally  gets  out  and  makes  her  way  to  the  front  door  .  she  rings  the  doorbell  and  pats  down  her  hair  ,  suddenly  self  conscious  and  wondering  if  she’s  overdressed  (  she’s  not  ,  she’s  wearing  jeans  for  christ’s  sake  )  .  hana  digs  her  teeth  down  into  her  lower  lip  ,  and  takes  a  couple  of  steps  back  when  the  door  swings  open  .  ‘  hi  ,  ’  she  speaks  with  a  soft  smile  and  raises  the  bags  in  her  hands  .  ‘  i  brought  food  .  ’

               sometimes  ,  hana  wonders  if  she  is  meant  to  be  unlucky  for  the  rest  of  her  life  .  she  hadn’t  thought  twice  about  her  invitation  to  the  saint  laurent  event—  being  a  global  ambassador  came  with  the  perks  of  attending  store  openings  before  the  general  public  and  showing  off  whichever  new  product  was  out  .  hana  was  beyond  excited  to  attend  ,  happily  discussing  her  favorite  products  and  pieces  until  her  eyes  somehow  manage  to  connect  with  a  pair  that  she  never  thought  she’d  see  again  .  ‘  daeho  .  ’  comes  out  of  her  mouth  without  a  second  thought  .  her  ex  !  and  not  just  any  ex  ,  but  her  ex  fiancé  !  hana  looks  away  quickly  ,  praying  that  it  was  just  her  mind  playing  tricks  on  her  .
