─「ベルベット」─  it was an ODD feeling, the therion noted to herself mentally, looking over her shoulder to her ... companion ? would it be alright to call him that ? she knew that he had become MORE than just a simple traveling companion as she labelled him, but perhaps, in a way, there wasn’t any suitable term to define their current relationship given how they were so used to being alone and judged by the eyes of others.

                but --- in a way, his presence made her feel SAFE, something the female found to be unfamiliar a concept. to have someone she knew she could TRUST, even after the BETRAYAL lacing her past. it was ... quite unimaginable, if anything.

─「ヴァイオレット」─  it was ... almost FASCINATING to the ex-soldier, this kind of feeling that spread from within. a sort of warmth that originated from the organ in her left chest whenever she came near him, a feeling of being intrigued, wanting to know more, to be CLOSER to him --- it was still something so foreign to her that she was trying to comprehend. what was it that she was feeling within ? a hint of LONGING when she couldn’t see him, or the joy that blossomed whenever he was close ?

                AQUATIC ORBS were fixated upon his expression, before her hand reached out, gloved digits grazing gently over his cheek as he was speaking. she wondered what his TOUCH would feel like --- would his skin be soft and warm ? how she longed to know the feel of it yet being well aware her MECHANICAL ARMS cannot allow her to experience such thing, or that his curse would let it happen.

─「ティラミス」─  the FOOD SOUL had seen the truth of the world far too many times for her to make judgement on what’s considered to be good or evil. she simply knew that she wanted to TREASURE those who are important to her regardless of how others might view them. this was indeed the case of how she had no longer placed too much care on those who questioned by she held him with such CARE no matter how much his hands had dripped with crimson.

               his eyes were CLOSED, and she tread her fingers ever so gently along the strands of his MIDNIGHT locks, each touch as light as a feather traveling through the fine ebony with adoration. a tender gaze in her LIME hues softened further as a small smile tugged at the corner of her lips.

               brushing his hair away from his FACE, she leaned down oh-so-carefully, allowing her lips to GHOST their way along his scalp, being mindful of her movement not to wake him from his slumber as her MAGIC enveloped them for a moment. casting a barrier to protect him from the WICKED SOULS he faced everyday.

               she knew he didn’t need it --- how his power was more than ENOUGH to take care of himself and how his wounds heal faster than her HEALING SPELLS could even be uttered. breath spilled closer towards the corner of his lips --- gently TEMPTED to steal a soft kiss from his mouth in his SLUMBER but her slight bashfulness held her back this time. the trailing kiss halted gracefully just before her mouth could touch his own, barely MILLIMETERS away from his mouth, even her warm exhale could be felt by him, she was sure.

               when she reopened her eyes, however, she was met with the MELTING GOLD that were pools of his gaze looking right at her. a light, bashful smile curved her lips, being CAUGHT in the act but she only pulled away a little. no denying her crime here, was it ?

               “ good morning. ” her nose touched his own in a nuzzle, still feeling that temptation to peck him on the lips but maybe --- she’d let him give his permission before stealing more kisses. the sound of her HEART thumping in her chest would be loud enough for him for him to hear, she was sure. there was no hiding it, though. her head TILTED and cheeks dusted with darker shade of pink where her gaze grew AFFECTIONATE.

               “ ... i’m in the process of stealing a kiss --- would you mind closing your eyes so i could complete this heist ? ”
