My mom and I got into a debate about the finer qualities of the various gun manufacturers and weapon types in Borderlands. (Yes, she plays Borderlands.)
She's adamant that she prefers sniper rifles, but she doesn't get much call to use them. Instead, she's an SMG "spray and pray" kind of lady.
For her? Maliwan.
I'll admit, Maliwan SMGs tend to be some of the best.
I play a little differently.
Accuracy. Or getting up close and personal. It's a toss-up between ARs and shotguns.
Jakobs and Daedalus. All the way.
(She says Jakobs are too slow. I say, "Woman, a few well-placed headshots and you don't have to worry about speed." Besides, I can pull the trigger in rapid succession, thank you very much.)
Though I will settle for a Maliwan SMG and I absolutely carry around the Hungry Hyperventilating Abyss. (That's a fun one.)
Everything else gets sold on sight.
As for weapon skins? Of those that I have unlocked so far, my two favorites are Splash Damage because it reminds me of sherbet:
And Game Bot. For now.
