Warnings:sick child, Bill being the best dad ever, fluffy goodness
âBilly, let me up for minuteâ, I nudged the red head. âMhm noâ Bill mumbled in my hair. âItâs almost ten and Dommy hasnât walked in yet. Think something is wrongâ, I said. Bill rolled over, cuddling the small pillow. âBe backâ I said as I walked down the hall to Donâs room. Bathroom was empty, living room was quiet. âPlease be okayâ, I said as I opened her bedroom door.
She was laying down her with blanket to her face, stuffed dragon, uncle Charlie got her in hand. Ginger hair was a wild mess like most mornings, then she started to cough. I ran over to her crib and gently got her up. âAww baby, you okay?â She looked up at me, eyes were pitiful, dark under eyes. Oh no, donât feel good at all. âDada!â, she started to whine. âYou want your daddy? Come on, heâs still snoozing beanâ, I picked her up. âFreddie!â, she whined for her stuffie. âI got him, loveâ
âBill, wake up!â, I shook him. âMhm whatâs wrong?â, Bill shot up, looking confused. âDadaâ, Dominique cried, crawling up Billâs legs. âAww whatâs wrong, bunny?â, Bill petted her back. âCanât tell but her eyes are pitiful. Look at her, Billâ, I said, getting back in bed with them. Dom was cuddled into Billâs chest with Freddie in clutch. âIâm gonna owl Dad and see if he can come for a home visit.â, I kissed Billâs cheek.
âOh thank Merlin, youâre here dad! Come inâ, I grabbed his hand. âOf course, anything for my lovesâ, he smiled. âSheâs upstairs in bed with Bill. It was almost ten am and she hadnât bursted in demanding Bill to get up. Was breathing with her mouth open, sounds stopped up, sorta warm. Sheâs whinnyâ, I rambled. âY/n, first thing I need you to calm down and breathe. Dom will be fine, probably a summer cold alright?â, he held my shoulders. âIâm sorry, Daddy. Sheâs just hardly ever gets sick and now sheâs look so pitiful and sadâ, I sighed.
âPapy!â, Dom whined, looking up from Billâs chest. âHi doll baby, heard youâre not feeling goodâ, my dad walked over to the bed. She shook her head. âSorry love, letâs fix that so you can annoy your mommy for me againâ, he giggled. She gave a small smile back. Bill held her, kissing her head every so often. I was a nervous wreck and Bill sensed it. He walked over to me, âSheâs not gonna be sick forever, Sweetheart. Luckily her pappy is a healerâ, Bill pulled me into his chest. âI know, just worry about my baby bean is allâ, I sighed.
âHey Peanut?â My dad said, making me tear away from Billâs arms. âYeah whatâs up?â, I picked Dommy up. âSummer cold, she should be fine by tomorrow. If not let me know and Iâll come back, let her rest today, fluids. Try to get her to eat something small, okay?â, he replied. âThank you, Daddy! Youâre the bestâ, I kissed his cheek. âI try! Keep me updated on her. And for you bean, get better soon. Papy loves you and hopes you feel betterâ, he kissed her cheek and rubbed her back. âGo make breakfast, Iâll get her in the bath. Try to break her fever.â, Bill walked over. âRight. Here go to daddy, Beanâ, I handed her over. I stopped at the door, âGo downstairs, love. I got her, promiseâ, Bill smiled.
Billâs pov-
I got Dom in the tub, letting her play with a few toys. âHereâs your ducky, loveâ, I handed her the last toy. âDank youâ, she smiled, running the duck over the water. I smiled, sitting beside the tub. âAlright Bunny, time for daddy to wash your hair.â, I grabbed the cup. Dom stood there as I dried her off with the duck towel. âCome on, love bugâ, I carried her to her room. I rubbed her forehead, âStill warm. You feeling okay, baby?â, I asked her. She looked up at me with sad eyes. âSorry bunnyâ, I kissed her head. Dom laid down finally, I gently shut the door.
âHey loveâ, I kissed Y/nâs lips. âHiâ, she smiled. I pulled her onto my lap and held her waist. âShe any better, Billy?â, she asked. âStill warm, didnât take her long to fell asleep after her bathâ, I replied. Y/n nodded, leaning her head in my neck. Y/n was sleeping on the couch downstairs, decided to check on Dom. She was snoring with her dragon by her side. âYou look a little better, my loveâ, I smiled. âDada!â, she smiled, wiggling to get to me. âWell hi pumpkin!â, I reached in her crib to get her. âDaddyâ, she smiled. âIs my baby all better now? Huh?â, I asked her, running my hand over her back.
âCome on, letâs go see mommy yeah?â, I kissed her cheek. She nodded. Y/n was snoring away, I sat Dom down. âMama?â, Dom smiled. âHuh? Dommy! Youâre upâ, Y/n lit up and grabbed Dom. âAll better!â, Dom giggled. âOh thatâs great, Pumpkin! Iâm so glad!â, Y/n hugged her. I smiled at them and sat beside of them. âThanks for taking care of her todayâ, Y/n kissed my cheek. âWe canât have our pumpkin all sick can we?â, I grinned.
